Drawing on the bad example from Jos: 22 we look at to Galatians: 5 where we see that when we keep control of the details ourselves, we exhibit the fruits of the flesh – like the Israelites – and we won’t have unity. When we stay yoked to Jesus (Mat 11:28), we exhibit the fruits of the Spirit – the only way to unity. And a yoke always has two sides – one side is me or you, the other side is Jesus.
